Mike Clark, PhD, CMPC

University of Arizona Sport Psychologist, Certified Mental Performance Consultant

    Mike Clark, Ph.D., CMPC is a Sport Psychologist at the University of Arizona and is credentialed as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant. In his role at Arizona, Dr. Clark provides mental health and mental performance services to university student-athletes, consults with coaches, and works within the interdisciplinary sport medicine staff to improve treatment outcomes.

    Dr. Clark earned a doctorate in counseling psychology from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee where his dissertation examined student-athlete transition. He completed his clinical training within the athletics department at the University of Oklahoma (OU PROS). Prior to his time at OU, Dr. Clark worked as a primary therapist in the Adult Trauma Recovery Unit at Roger’s Behavioral Health where he used validated treatment intervention strategies to treat posttraumatic stress disorder.

    Dr. Clark earned a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of Missouri and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Mississippi State University where he was a member of the track and field program
