Travis Halseth, MS, ATC

Associate Athletic Trainer, University of Oregon

    Travis Halseth joined the University of Oregon Athletic Medicine staff in the fall 2006 and is currently the associate athletic trainer responsible for managing the healthcare of student athletes on the football team. Prior to his arrival at the University of Oregon, Halseth worked as the head athletic trainer for the Berlin Thunder (NFL Europe).

    Halseth graduated from Pacific in 2001, with a degree in exercise and sport science. He went on to earn his master’s degree from Boise State University in 2003, while working as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the Bronco football and basketball teams. Travis has also had experience as an assistant athletic trainer at the University of Pacific and has held internships with the Seattle Seahawks, Philadelphia Eagles, and the San Francisco 49ers.

    Halseth is certified in many advanced clinical skills such as Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Kinesiotape, Graston Technique, and Blood Flow Restriction Therapy. Travis is also a member of many professional organizations such as the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Northwest Athletic Trainers’ Association, and Oregon Athletic Trainers’ Society.

    Travis’s wife, Heather, is also an athletic trainer on staff. They have two children, Cade and Harper who find new and exciting ways to keep them on their toes. In the event that Travis has any free time, you will likely find him on the golf course or coaching his kids’ youth teams.
